Bright BOT-or-YOU

Bright BY template contains a set of pre-built functions and questions that are used to assess the data quality and/or detect fraud data across online surveys. Each method can be enabled or disabled independently.

The methods are grouped into two main categories which separate the checks as:

1. Invasive - checks that a visible to respondents
2. Automated - checks that are not visible to respondents and happen in the background

The BOT-or-YOU (BY) template serves as a standardized foundation for data quality management within Bright MR’s survey ecosystem. It integrates both invasive and automated detection methods designed to identify fraudulent, low-quality, or bot-generated responses.

The template output provides an overall score between 0% and 100% on whether a respondent is a bot. Further information can be viewed on how many, and which criteria were used for the respondent to be flagged.
